Percussion Master is a music simulation game requiring timing and a good sense of rhythm. Players each have three drums, one big drum in the center and two smaller drums above. To add challenge to the game, different symbols fall down the screen that requires more than a simple striking of the drum. Additional actions include, needing to strike the edge of the drum not the middle, double striking the drum and striking the drum rapidly a set number of times.
The player has a choice of easy, normal, hard, expert mode and challenged mode. The game involves hitting the correct drum at the correct time. Each correct strike raises the meter, if the player makes it over the pass line. The game can continue, if not the game is over. A bonus feature of this machine is that it can take your picture (with the digital camera built into the header). It will digitally impose this picture on the screen to make you look like a drum superstar.
